Refund Policy

Effective July 25, 2026

This Refund Policy applies to payments administered by Future Gen Sync LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company doing business as Eagle Translate ("Eagle Translate," "we," "us," or "our"). It is incorporated into the Terms of Service.

Translation is personalized work that may begin soon after payment. Refund eligibility therefore depends on the work performed, the reason for the request, and whether we have been given a reasonable opportunity to correct a verified problem.

Nothing in this policy limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited.

1. How to Request a Change, Cancellation, Revision, or Refund

Email support@eagletranslate.com or use the order-support feature. Include:

  • the order number;
  • the affected file or page;
  • the requested change or remedy;
  • for a quality issue, the source text and disputed translation; and
  • for a rejection, the recipient's written rejection or requirement.

Submitting a request does not itself stop work. We will confirm whether the order has been paused, changed, or cancelled.

2. Order Changes

You may request a change before work begins. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate the request, but a change may affect price, translator assignment, certification, and delivery estimate.

After work begins, we may treat changed source files, added pages, a new language pair, new recipient instructions, changed formatting, or a different service level as a new or expanded order. We will seek approval before charging an additional amount.

Replacing a source document after translation begins may require the work to restart. Work already performed remains chargeable.

3. Customer Cancellations

If you request cancellation:

  • Before assignment or substantive work begins: we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled translation service, less any nonrefundable third-party fee already incurred and clearly disclosed to you.
  • After work begins but before completion: we may issue a prorated refund for the unperformed portion, based on pages, words, time, completed milestones, or other reasonable evidence of work performed. The completed portion and incurred third-party fees are nonrefundable.
  • After the translation is complete or delivered: the translation charge is nonrefundable, subject to the revision and limited acceptance remedies below.

Optional services not yet provided, such as physical shipping or an unperformed add-on, will be refunded. Optional services already performed are nonrefundable.

We may decline a cancellation if the deliverable is complete even if it has not yet been downloaded.

4. Cancellations by Eagle Translate

We may cancel all or part of an order because of translator unavailability, technical limitations, prohibited or suspected fraudulent content, an unsupported language pair, payment failure, inaccurate scope, legal risk, or another reasonable operational cause.

If we cancel for a reason not caused by your breach, misconduct, nonpayment, or inaccurate submission, we will refund the amount paid for the unperformed portion. We are not responsible for replacement-service costs, missed deadlines, filing consequences, or other indirect losses.

The Company may administer a cancellation, credit, correction, retranslation, or refund as marketplace administrator and limited payment-collection agent. Doing so does not make the Company the author, certifier, or professional translation provider and is not an admission that the Company is responsible for a translator's work.

5. Turnaround Times

Turnaround times are good-faith estimates. They may be affected by document length or complexity, illegibility, unusual formatting, incorrect language selection, delayed customer responses, payment review, translator availability, weekends, holidays, or events outside our reasonable control.

A missed estimate does not automatically entitle you to a full refund if the translation has been completed. If you purchased a separately identified rush or priority upgrade and we materially miss the corresponding estimate for reasons within our reasonable control, we may, after review, refund the rush or priority surcharge. The underlying translation charge remains payable for work performed.

We are not responsible for a filing, hearing, travel, admission, immigration, licensing, court, school, or other deadline. You must allow adequate time for translation, review, revision, recipient review, and delivery.

6. Revisions and Quality Concerns

Report a claimed translation error within 30 calendar days after delivery. A free revision is available when:

  1. the final translation materially differs from the legible source document originally submitted;
  2. the issue is not merely a reasonable difference in style, word choice, transliteration, formatting preference, or professional judgment;
  3. the source material, instructions, and recipient requirements have not changed; and
  4. you provide enough detail for us and the translator to evaluate the issue.

We may ask the original translator or another qualified translator to review the claim. We may correct a verified error, provide an updated certificate, or retranslate the affected portion.

The following normally require a paid change or new order:

  • new, replaced, corrected, or clearer source material;
  • a preferred spelling of a name not supplied with the order;
  • a different transliteration standard;
  • a new recipient template or certification statement;
  • an omitted optional service, such as notarization, apostille, or physical delivery;
  • stylistic edits that do not correct source accuracy; or
  • instructions first supplied after delivery.

Translation can involve more than one professionally acceptable rendering. A preference for a different valid rendering is not by itself a defect.

7. Limited Certified-Translation Acceptance Remedy

For a paid certified-translation order, we will provide the following limited remedy if the intended recipient rejects the translation solely because of a verified translation error or a defect in the certification that was included in the purchased service:

  1. You must notify us within 30 calendar days after delivery and provide the recipient's written rejection or written requirement.
  2. You must have submitted the same, unaltered source document and delivered translation to the recipient.
  3. You must have ordered every service the recipient required and complied with its filing instructions and deadline.
  4. You must give us a reasonable opportunity to correct, recertify, or retranslate the affected work.
  5. If the recipient still rejects the corrected translation for the same verified translation error or included-certification defect, we will refund the amount paid to Eagle Translate for the affected certified-translation service.

This remedy does not apply when rejection is caused in whole or part by:

  • a false, forged, altered, expired, incomplete, inaccurate, or legally insufficient source document;
  • the recipient's view of the source document's authenticity, validity, admissibility, evidentiary value, or content;
  • a customer omission, incorrect instruction, misspelling, changed file, or failure to provide context;
  • a requirement for notarization, apostille, wet ink, physical delivery, credential evaluation, certified copy, translator located in a particular jurisdiction, or another service not expressly purchased;
  • a changed or undisclosed recipient rule;
  • recipient discretion unrelated to translation accuracy;
  • a missed deadline, late filing, wrong form, wrong filing location, or other procedural issue;
  • formatting or stylistic preference that does not affect translation accuracy;
  • use of the translation for a different recipient or purpose than disclosed; or
  • a matter outside the scope of language translation.

The acceptance remedy is not a guarantee of any legal, immigration, court, academic, licensing, employment, medical, or business outcome.

8. Source-Document Authenticity Is Never a Refund Ground Against Us

Eagle Translate and its translators translate the material submitted; they do not authenticate it. You are solely responsible for the truth, accuracy, completeness, legality, and authenticity of the source document.

No refund is due because a court, agency, school, employer, licensing body, financial institution, health provider, or other recipient determines or suspects that a source document is forged, altered, invalid, expired, inaccurate, incomplete, unlawfully obtained, or otherwise unacceptable.

We may refuse or cancel an order and preserve relevant records when we reasonably suspect fraud or unlawful use. A refund may be denied to the extent permitted by law if the order involved a breach of the Terms of Service, fraudulent payment, prohibited content, or material misrepresentation.

9. Shipping and Third-Party Services

Shipping carriers, payment processors, and other third parties operate independently. Carrier delays, loss, damage, customs holds, incorrect addresses, and delivery failures are not grounds for refund of completed translation work.

If a physical shipment is lost or materially damaged, contact us promptly. We may help seek a carrier remedy or arrange a replacement. Replacement printing, notarization, carrier, customs, or reshipment charges may apply unless the problem resulted from our error or applicable law requires otherwise.

10. Refund Amount and Method

Refunds are limited to amounts actually paid to Eagle Translate for the eligible portion of the affected order. Unless law requires otherwise, we do not reimburse:

  • bank, exchange, card-issuer, or foreign-transaction charges;
  • services already performed;
  • nonrecoverable third-party fees;
  • customer expenses or replacement-provider costs; or
  • indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential losses.

Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method when reasonably possible. Financial institutions control posting time. We may require identity or payment verification before issuing a refund.

A voluntary credit, courtesy revision, or refund in one matter does not create a continuing obligation or admission of fault.

11. Chargebacks and Duplicate Recovery

Please contact us before initiating a chargeback so we can review the order. This does not limit any nonwaivable cardholder or consumer right.

You may not obtain duplicate recovery for the same amount through both a refund and a chargeback. If a chargeback is pending, we may pause a refund until the payment dispute is resolved.
